duckieyuu is proudly Singaporean and responds like a doggy to the names Duckie, Yuu, duckieyuu, DY and every other nicky you can think of that remotely sounds like her penname.

She seeks to lead a happy life in secondary school, prefers to avoid wrestling with nasty class politics, because she dislikes being caught in the middle of a crossfire, but she knows she cannot sell out her beliefs, thus she snaps when she must. Still, she tries to give way to people as often as she can. In particular, she abhors homework and studying, thus admitting she is a student who grades that love to fluctuate (something she oftens finds herself being yelled at for). She doesn't like to think too much about excessive little details, and often wonders if algebra was invented to make the life of an un-mathematically-inclined person like her hell, or for a better purpose. She is just an indecisive little bum stumbling through life. Her mother is currently extremely exasperated with her because she cannot decide which subjects she wants to take for her 'O'-Levels, or whether she wants to pursue 'A'-Levels instead. Sometimes she cannot tell if people look down on her because of her easy-going ways and lack of decisiveness. Despite all this, she has at least one goal ahead and that is to study Law, though there are people (mainly her conscience) who strongly believes she should give that up, because she is one hell of a shameless procrastinator who likes to daydream and relax all day long. Still, she is happy enough living in a one-room flat as long as she's surrounded by shelves of her favourite manga and has a computer to link her to LJ and fanfiction.

She reluctantly admits that she's not the most talented of writers. Age is not an issue - she does not like using that as a reason for her incompetence. Still, she is trying to improve her writing skills. As of the present, she is busy with one project, tentatively titled Soya Beans that is making her lose clumps of hair everyday though she loves this plot bunny so much she doesn't want to set him free yet. She now has her MYEs(Mid-Year Examinations) and therefore cannot give too much of her time to said plot bunny, who is now deciding whether he should go chase after a more dedicated writer.

She hopes to make lots of friends on LJ and she promises to try her best to be civilised and refrain from being a rabid fangirl when fangirl-ish urges arise.

She loves many pairings, but her OTP still remains as LeonCloud. She finds Cloud heartwrenchingly uke and cute. He is also the one character she has faithfully stuck by for the longest time. She admits she has a soft spot for ZackCloud, and can never decide if she prefers SephCloud as noncon or fluff. Akuroku never fails to make her feel like crying at times. She follows many manga at one time (because she's just helplessly obsessed like that), though a few she currently likes very much are Katekyo Hitman Reborn! and Air Gear. Yes, she finds DinoHiba and YamaHiba very cute, thanks. She cannot decide if she wants Akito and Agito to be together, or in a hot threesome with Ikki-kun included. With all thanks to fantasia0829, she is now obsessed with Junjyou Romantica and in particular, Misaki ♥♥♥
